EYELASH VIPER (Ludlow Lambertson 2013)
TET 5" Semi-evergreen Early Season Reblooms 30" Height
(Subtle Knife X Seedling)
EYELASH VIPER is named after the yellow and the green eyelash vipers that I saw at the Hanging Bridges in Costa Rica. EYELASH VIPER has medium purple petals, light purple sepals, and a gray-blue eye and edge. On early bloom EYELASH VIPER has more traditional shaped teeth but as the season continues EYELASH VIPER gets a more extreme edge of green-gold teeth and long tentacles. This is another daylily that bloomed for 5 months and still had new scapes coming in late August. EYELASH VIPER has 3-way branching, 20 buds and a big green throat. Fertile both ways.
